About Sahajilo

A small Australian team, building calm software for the people who do the loud work.

Sahajilo started in Lismore in 2024 as a side project for one NDIS provider who could no longer find their participants in a forest of spreadsheets. Three years later, it's a full platform — still small, still calm, still hosted in Australia.

The story

We built the system we wished someone would just build for us.

Asha was a support coordinator at a small NDIS provider on the north coast of NSW. She spent more time moving information between systems than she did with participants. The CRM didn't know what a service agreement was. The roster lived in a spreadsheet that nobody could open without breaking the formulas. The audit binder was assembled twice a year, manually, from four different drives.

Dan, a software engineer who'd built multi-tenant healthcare platforms, agreed to spend a weekend looking at it. The weekend became three months. The three months became Sahajilo.

We've spent the last two years removing things — extra fields, ambiguous statuses, premature integrations, the third "notes" section. What's left is a quiet, opinionated platform that runs on the principle that NDIS work is hard enough without software making it harder.

Principles

The six things we refuse to compromise.

These aren't aspirations — they're the criteria a feature has to clear before it ships. We've killed our own ideas with these many times.

01

Software shouldn't shout.

The work is already loud enough. Defaults are quiet, accents are deliberate, alerts are earned.

02

Audit-ready, every day.

Compliance evidence is a side-effect of the work, not a project that happens once a year in panic.

03

Tenant isolation, from the database up.

We never trust the UI to filter by organisation. Every query is tenant-scoped at the framework boundary.

04

Hosted in Australia, full stop.

Backups, replicas, logs — all in ap-southeast-2. Sovereignty is a default, not a paid add-on.

05

Plain English, plain pricing.

We don't bury inclusions in PDFs or trick you into per-participant billing. You can read the price page in a minute.

06

We answer our own emails.

There is no support tier where you talk to a real human only after escalation. The default is human.

Team

Four people, in one workspace.

We're deliberately small. Every customer talks to one of us, by name, within a day.

Rohan K.
Customer success

Worked the floor at three NDIS providers. Migrated organisations off four major platforms.
