Sydney is classed MMM 1 under the Modified Monash Model, within the metropolitan category. For providers, that metropolitan setting can still mean long travel times between services. When managers oversee work across Greater Sydney, collecting evidence should not depend on visiting each location or waiting for someone to forward a folder.
The practical starting point is to establish where records live, who maintains them and what needs attention. Incident registers, complaints records, policy reviews and worker files need to connect with everyday operations. A document stored centrally is only useful if the people responsible can find the current version and understand what action remains.
For example, a provider running two SIL houses in Sydney might have training records in its rostering software and incident follow-up in separate folders. An evidence review can identify those locations, record gaps and assign follow-up before audit preparation begins.
Our NDIS compliance and audit service covers both preparation for audits and the ongoing administration that keeps evidence usable between them.
